Ross Weaver PharmD, MBA
Clinical SCORE Co-founder, Ross Weaver is the company’s Managing Director and the Account Director for the company’s Clinical Trial Insights (CTI)™ product. Ross was previously a Vice President at Adjility Health, a Senior Partner at Weaver & Holihan, and the President of Weaver & Associates. His extensive industry experience also includes former Director of Licensing, Director of New Products Planning and Manager of New Products Marketing Research Manager at AstraZeneca, and Senior Scientist, Division of Drugs, AMA.
Ross completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Applied Pharmacokinetics at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN, and holds a Masters of Business Administration in Marketing and Finance from the University of Chicago, Chicago, IL, a PharmD from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN, and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS.
Senior Vice President
Blaine Cloud is Senior Vice President at Clinical SCORE, working closely with clients and overseeing projects in all three of the company’s areas of expertise — clinical, commercial and medical affairs. With a clinical and research background in neuropsychology, he has spent 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry, including more than 11 years in strategic consulting. He has held R&D and commercial roles on both the manufacturing and consulting side. For instance, he spent 9 years at GSK in Marketing and Commercial Development. His experience encompasses marketing research, tactical and strategic planning, patient-provider interactions, ad agency strategy, and more.
Blaine received his doctoral degree in neuroscience from Drexel University and has more than 20 publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Gary Kaplan MS
Vice President of Medical Affairs Research
Gary Kaplan is Vice President of Medical Affairs Research at Clinical SCORE and the Account Director for the company’s Partner of Choice™ product. He has more than thirty years of professional experience as a statistician for market research and developer of cutting-edge approaches to business challenges and market sizing models, as well as a specialized focus on conversion of corporate business problems to useable designs. Previously, Gary was the Chief Operating Officer for Leger Marketing/TRIG (a Canadian leader in public opinion polling and market research), the Executive Vice President at TNS and Research, and an Account Executive at Chilton Research Services.
He holds a Master of Science in Urban Studies with a major in Research Modeling and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, both from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA, and a Master of Science in Applied Statistics from Temple University, Philadelphia, PA.
Taryn Chance MPhil, M LD
Senior Director, Business Development
Taryn Chance is the Senior Director of Business Development at Clinical SCORE, where she uses her diverse skill set to support the company’s sales and marketing strategy. Based on her expertise in communication dynamics, she establishes and refines the company’s messaging, optimizes its visibility and uses advanced digital analytics to assess program impact. She draws on her background in management science to coordinate a multidisciplinary team of staff, vendors and consultants to achieve the company’s communication goals. She joined the company in May 2015 as marketing manager. Since then she has continually taken on increasingly important roles on the leadership team.
Currently working toward her second master’s degree in organizational dynamics at the University of Pennsylvania, Taryn holds an Advanced Certificate in Business Analytics from The Wharton School of Business. She completed her undergraduate work at Penn State, with a major in communications and a first master’s degree in leadership development.
Director of Operations
Madalene Winter is Director of Operations for Clinical SCORE. She is responsible for primary development and oversight of the operational framework which supports the Company’s projects. Tasked with facilitating the timely and accurate delivery of assignments, Madalene coordinates with all team members and provides detailed documentation, enterprise communications, and adherence to protocols.
Prior to joining the team at Clinical SCORE, Madalene’s professional experience included project management and medical report editing. She previously led customer service teams with two major international retailers.
Madalene attended Sacramento City College, Sacramento, CA, where her studies included Public Relations and French.
Anne Weaver, RN
Quality Assurance Manager
Anne joined Clinical SCORE in 2013, and became the company’s Editor in 2015, bringing 25 years experience as a full-time R.N. in various fields within both inpatient and outpatient settings. After receiving her training at Mercy School of Nursing in Fort Scott, Kansas, Anne has worked in hospitals in Kansas, Tennessee, Minnesota, Illinois, and Delaware.
Contributing to the level of excellence Clinical SCORE looks for in its written content is very important. As the Manager of Quality Assurance, Anne becoming Editor was a natural complement to her assiduous detail orientation.
Ronda Clark is Executive Assistant to Ross Weaver and is charged with overseeing all aspects of the organization. Her areas of expertise include: organizational operations, systems, processes, efficiency, cost effectiveness, business correspondence, and document control. Ronda brings over 25 years of experience in retail management and customer service to Clinical SCORE.
Ann Ferentinos, MBA
Ann is Clinical SCORE’s Bookkeeper, bringing her 20+ years of financial management experience and areas of expertise in financial analyses, budgeting/forecasting, cost allocations, work flow re-engineering, and cost reduction initiatives. Ann joined the company is 2014, and is a detail-oriented multi-tasker, with exemplary organization and project management skills, along with a proven ability to work effectively with teams and people at all levels of organization.She holds an MBA from Widener University, and a BS in Accounting from the University of Delaware.
