This privacy policy governs the manner in which Clinical SCORE, LLC (“Clinical SCORE”) collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from individuals (each, an “Individual”) in the normal course of business (sales, marketing) and/or within products or services made available by Clinical SCORE.

This privacy policy covers all U.S. subsidiaries using the brand names Clinical SCORE, CTI™, CTI Plus™, ATTUNE™ Analytics, and Medical Affairs Perspective. The entity Drug Development Insights is also covered by this policy.

 

Acknowledgement

Clinical SCORE acknowledges that the collection, transfer and/or use of personally identifiable information (such as: contact, financial or medical information; purchasing history; and prior survey responses) may be governed by domestic and foreign laws, including without limitation the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the FCC Customer Privacy Rule, the European Union Directive on Data Protection (Directive 95/46/EC), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), laws and industry standards restricting unsolicited email messages, and laws requiring that Clinical SCORE comply with its own published privacy policies.

Clinical SCORE commits to cooperate with the panel established by the EU data protection authorities (DPAs) and the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner and comply with the advice given by the panel and Commissioner regarding data transferred from the EU and Switzerland.

The Federal Trade Commission has jurisdiction over Clinical SCORE’s compliance with the Privacy Shield.

Automatic Collections

Clinical SCORE may collect non-personal identification information about Individuals when they interact with the website. Non-personal identification may include browser name, type of computer, and technical information about the Individuals means of connection to the website, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.

The website may use “cookies” to enhance Individuals experience. Individuals web browser places cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes, and sometimes to track information about them. Clinical SCORE may collect personal identification information from Individuals when Individuals visit the website or in connection with other services, activities, features, or resources made available on the website. Clinical SCORE may collect personal identification information from Individuals who interact with Clinical SCORE’s products or services. Information collected may include name, address, email address, mailing address, phone number, personal health information, demographic information, or other additional information collected in surveys, interviews or other marketing areas.

This information is only collected if an Individual agrees to participate in a survey or interview associated with a product or service. Individuals will consent for this information to be used in the aggregate. This information may be used to improve products and services, in a report provided to an outside vendor or client, or for marketing purposes. The consent to which Individuals agree will include the way the information will be used.

Personal information such as name, mailing address, phone number, or email address are never stored with the Individual’s answers regarding personal health information or other demographics. For this reason, personal information including name, mailing address, phone number, or email address is retained for a year after completion of the survey or interview or after compensation whichever is the most recent to occur.

How Information Collected is Protected

Information collected is stored on a secure file server that follows Federal US, Swiss and EU guidelines for data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of Individuals personal information or data stored on the website.

Sensitive and private data exchanged between the website and the Individual happens over a SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures.

 

Sharing Personal Information

Clinical SCORE does not sell, trade, or rent Individuals’ personal identification information to others. Generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and individuals may be shared with business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined in this policy. A third-party service may be used to help Clinical SCORE operate our business and the website or to administer activities on Clinical SCORE’s behalf.  These may include: sending out newsletters or surveys, processing payments, analyzing data, and providing customer service. Individual’s information may be shared with these third parties for those limited purposes, provided that the Individual’s permission has been received.

In the event that personal information is transferred to a third party for the purposes mentioned, they must process all personal information in accordance with Clinical SCORE’s Privacy Policy.
